Shen Boyang, a Taipei mayoral candidate from the Democratic Progressive Party, visited "InnoVEX 2026" today (3rd). In the afternoon, he was asked about his thoughts on the technology exhibition and which of the displayed results can be introduced into municipal applications. He said that technologies including AI underground pipeline detection, ultra-efficient cooling systems and other technologies are very important to the future development of Beishike. Taiwan's manufacturers and startup teams are also keeping pace with the world. Unfortunately, time is limited and he cannot see all the booths. However, he will still understand the industry needs through discussions and retain talents.

Shen Boyang said that he has seen many projects that can be introduced into municipal applications, such as energy storage related and 3D pipelines. Overall pipeline inventory and 3D pipeline undergrounding are currently only possible in 3D undergrounding. If AI is to be used to import the entire pipeline and the entire pipeline can be re-inspected, AI technology is needed. This situation has been seen on site.

In addition to the vehicles mentioned above, Shen Boyang also mentioned the HyperCool system. Many manufacturers use different technologies such as steam and liquid cooling to effectively reduce power consumption, which is very important for the future development of Beishike. He said that unfortunately there was not enough time today to watch every one, but he would still use the forum to understand the trends and needs of the industry and entrepreneurship, find ways to retain talents, and make it easier to integrate with the international community.

Attending a closed-door discussion at the Taipei International Youth Chamber of Commerce in the afternoon, Shen Boyang said that there are two main aspects. First, he saw a lot of international investment at "InnoVEX" in the morning, and also saw more new innovation link programs such as the "NVIDIA Inception". Taiwan's own manufacturers and innovations can keep pace with the international world, so how to keep such talents in Taiwan and connect with the international community is very important.

Second, in Taipei, youth entrepreneurship will theoretically need funds, and we will also discuss how to make it easier for young people to live in Taipei, have funds/investments/first pot of gold to operate, and pursue entrepreneurial opportunities. Legislator Wu Siyao pointed out that professionals and groups related to various industries are very important social organizations in Shen Boyang's process of gaining public recognition. They will also actively seek help from various municipal suggestions and are in the process of contacting them step by step.

Wu Siyao added that "InnoVEX" has more than 200 booths, and she and Shen Boyang were not satisfied with the visit.
