Intesa Sanpaolo, Gros-Pietro reassures MPS: "No loss of autonomy"

The president of Intesa Sanpaolo, Gian Maria Gros-Pietro reassures the fears of local Tuscan authorities that with the Ca' de Sass takeover, MPS could lose its autonomy, brand and headquarters. "This doesn't happen. If we look at our recent history, and see the attitude of the shareholders who were members of banks outside the group, now they are all very happy" to be part of Intesa Sanpaolo, underlines Gros-Pietro at the Cernobbio Forum. The shareholders who have entered Intesa Sanpaolo's capital in recent years "have better dividends and above all have a much more positive vision of their future" reiterates Gros-Pietro.

"At the meeting of 10 September of Intesa Sanpaolo called to give the green light to the increase in the service of the takeover bid for MPS "I expect broad support from our shareholders.
