Israel launched an airstrike in southern Lebanon

In the report of Lebanon's official news agency NNA, it was stated that Israeli warplanes targeted the Arayish region between the towns of Khiyam, Sarbin, Mansuri, Nabatiye al-Fevka and the towns of Hadase and Haris in the south of the country.

In the news, it was noted that the Israeli army carried out 2 air strikes against the town of Kantara towards Wadi al-Saluki.

In the statement made by the Emergency Operation Center of the Ministry of Health of Lebanon, it was reported that 2 people were injured in the attack on the Merc Haruf-Zebdin road in the Nabatiye district of Israel.

⁠Israel's attacks in Lebanon and the ceasefire process

Israel launched an attack on Lebanon in October 2023, and this attack turned into a large-scale war in September 2024. More than 4 thousand people lost their lives in the war and approximately 17 thousand people were injured.

The Israeli army launched intense air attacks on Lebanon on March 2 and occupied many towns in the south of the country.

The Lebanese government announced that the number of people displaced in the country during this period exceeded 1 million.

The ceasefire between Lebanon and Israel, which came into force on April 17, was later extended several times. However, despite the ceasefire, the Israeli army continues its attacks against the country for various reasons.
