Israeli Minister Katz threatens to attack Iran

Claiming that Iran has made some attempts that pose a threat to Israel, including obtaining nuclear weapons, Katz said, "We cannot accept these threats. We must be united in the face of the great tasks ahead of us." He repeated the threat of attack with his statements.

Defense Minister Katz, in his speech at the memorial ceremony for Israeli soldiers who died during the Suez Crisis in 1956 on Mount Herzl in West Jerusalem, said, "The mission against Iran is not yet completed." he said.

Following the elections held in Israel on October 27, President Isaac Herzog announced that he had decided to give the authority to form a government to Gadi Eisenkot, the leader of the opposition Yashar Party, who managed to get the support of 67 MPs. Eisenkot, whom Herzog will officially authorize today, will have 28 days to form a government, with an additional 14 days if needed.
