Espionage Case Heard at Istanbul 25th High Criminal Court

In the case heard at the Istanbul 25th High Criminal Court, the court had decided in the previous hearings to write a warrant to the National Intelligence Organization (MİT) and ask whether there was any report or determination that the defendants were engaged in espionage activities.

In the second hearing, it was stated that the response expected from MİT had not yet reached the file. The court also decided to continue the detention of İmamoğlu, Yanardağ, Özkan and Gün and postponed the hearing to 29 September.

At today's third hearing, it will be clear whether the letter expected from MİT has reached the file. The court will also re-evaluate the detention status of the four defendants.
