Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office requested the arrest of 7 suspects, alleging fraud and public harm in Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality tenders.

Within the scope of the investigation carried out by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the preliminary examination report prepared by the Civil Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the expert reports received included findings that some tenders carried out by the IMM Purchasing Directorate, including the purchase of materials for the IMM Presidential residence, were rigged and caused public damage.

7 SUSPECTS WERE REFERRED WITH A REQUEST FOR ARREST

Abdülkerim Hazirbaba, Ekrem Baki, Mustafa Delipoyraz, Mustafa Sökmen, Talha Özyurt, Vedat Taşdelen and Volkan Karagöz, who were detained within the scope of the investigation, requested arrest after their statements to the prosecutor's office; Gökhan Fırtına, Mehmet Yücetürk, Rezzan Neslihan Vural, Saliha Ülkü Aydoğan and Ali Toy were referred to the judgeship with a request for judicial control.
