Match time in Istanbul: Traffic turned red before the giant derby

As part of the Trendyol Super League, traffic in Istanbul increased before the Beşiktaş-Başakşehir match to be played at Tüpraş Stadium at 19.00 and the Galatasaray-Fenerbahçe giant derby to be played at RAMS Park at 21.00.

While there is congestion on the ring roads in Seyrantepe and Beşiktaş, which are the routes that provide transportation to the stadiums, before the matches, there is also traffic congestion on the main arteries.

Drivers who did not want to get caught in traffic before the giant match set out before rush hour, creating traffic congestion. It was seen that traffic came to a halt in Yenibosna and Halıcıoğlu, in the direction of Ankara and Edirne.

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Traffic application showed that traffic density increased to 72 percent as of 18:00.

The density is expected to increase as the match hours approach.
