FETO operation in 3 provinces based in Istanbul! 15 detained

A study was initiated by the teams of the Istanbul Police Anti-Smuggling Crimes Branch Directorate, under the coordination of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, to identify the suspects operating within the secret structure of FETO/PDY. Within the scope of the studies, digital data obtained from the secret witness, bank account movements, money transfers to institutions affiliated with the organization and consecutive call records were examined.

During the investigations, it was determined that the suspects had increased balances in their BankAsya accounts on suspicious dates, and that they made money transfers to institutions affiliated with the organization under the name of sacrifice, scholarship and donation. It was also determined that the suspects had records of payphone and consecutive calls, which were considered as secret communication methods of the organization, and that they were operating at a responsible level within the Security Secret Structure. In line with the information obtained, a simultaneous operation was carried out this morning at 15 addresses in Istanbul, Burdur and Ordu. 15 suspects were detained during the operation. The suspects were taken to the police station for processing.
