Jonathan Anderson welcomes the people of Paris Fashion Week which began on Monday 28 September and the admirers of Dior fashion to the Tuileries Gardens, already home to other recent fashion shows of the brand, for the presentation of the Spring/Summer 2027 of the French Maison of which he is creative director. The scenario is, as always, reimagined to contextualize a new collection that starts from a reflection on nature. The walkway that crosses the octagonal basin skims the water on which a spectacular fog is released.

The Irish designer who has been sending collections on the catwalk for Dior since the summer of 2025 has once again sought inspiration for his new women's collection in the Dior archives, making it a starting material to be molded to obtain new shapes and silhouettes. Dior has the spirit, the chromatic sense, the passion for natural ideas but Anderson is always looking for something that speaks to the contemporary. Its new creations are perfect for the needs of today's customers of the brand.

The first release is already a manifesto of a collection that smells of lightness. Everything fluctuates in the look with the short skirt, made from a fluid fabric, and the blazer which is only the shadow of a jacket that already existed at Dior. Transparent and unlined, it keeps its sartorial proportions intact, harmonizing with the striped shirt underneath.

The wind of late September passes through the skirts of the new Dior dresses, the same ones that we will see in the wardrobes of celebrities and the brand's customers. Mona Tougaard, one of the most sought-after faces in Paris, walks in the autumn breeze in a creation with thin straps and a bustier characterized by an intertwining of drapes, a trademark of many Anderson creations in his Dior era. The skirt opens leaving the fabric free, low heels, some sophisticated details.

Shirts, dresses and trousers open at the bottom like upside-down flowers. The skirts flutter in the wind and reveal volumes and layers of fabric with every step. Jonathan Anderson's fashion for next Spring/Summer is a moving, delicate and timeless fashion, good garments for dressing dreams. A style all about asymmetries, fringes, overlaps which, however, do not weigh on the body.

The Maison Dior fashion show is one of the major events of Fashion Week. Traditionally placed in the middle of the day on the first Tuesday of presentations, it attracts a large number of celebrities to Paris.
