2 people held hostage for 3 days in Kağıthane were rescued

Hakan Ç in Kağıthane. (25) and Görkem Serkan T. (25), their hands were tied with duct tape and they were beaten in a house for 3 days, allegedly due to debt. While the police rescued 2 people, 4 suspects caught in the incident were arrested. Görkem Serkan T., who was detained at home, said in his statement: "The person named Mahsun said on the phone, 'You will come to me, I will take your cancer brother and leave him paralyzed.' I was afraid and went with him. They took me to an apartment, melted the nylon on my back. The person named Yusuf cut my little finger, the left side of my eye and my arm deeply with a knife." Hakan C. He said, "The person named Zeki left the room, there was no one around us. I stood up at the opportunity, walked towards the window with small steps and looked outside, hoping that someone would see through the window. At that moment, I came face to face with a woman and asked for help by showing my tied hand."

The incident took place in Merkez District. Hakan C. and Görkem Serkan T. were beaten in a house, allegedly due to a debt issue. Two people, whose hands and feet were tied with duct tape, were held hostage in a house for 3 days. Hakan Ç., who was beaten. and Görkem Serkan T. had wounds on their faces and various parts of their bodies. On Sunday, September 20, at around 15:00, Kağıthane Public Security Bureau and Mobile Park police teams took action upon the notice that there was a handcuffed person with an injured face at home.

The police who entered the house, Hakan Ç. and Görkem found Serkan T. beaten and his hands and feet tied with duct tape. While the teams rescued 2 people, Zeki A. (28), who was in the house, was detained. During the searches at the house, 1 unlicensed gun, a magazine, 7 bullets and a dagger were seized. The moments when the two people were rescued by the police 3 days after they entered the building were captured on a mobile phone camera.

In the footage, the hostages are seen crying, saying, "Oh my God, you are so great, my prayers have been accepted." On the other hand, Kağıthane Public Security Bureau teams examined the security camera footage and identified other suspects involved in the incident. İdris A. (21), Tarık O. (21) and Suat Eren D. (22) were detained at different addresses in Kağıthane. The moments when the suspects and hostages entered the building were recorded on the security camera.

On the other hand, it was learned that Zeki A., who was detained, had 7 visits to the police for the crimes of 'Drug dealing', 'Drug use', 'Open theft' and 'Snatching', and Suat Eren D. had 2 visits to the police for the crime of 'Deliberate wounding'. It was stated that İdris A. had records of coming to the police for the crimes of 'Drug use' and 'Negligent wounding', and Tarık O. for 'Violation of the firearms law', 'Blackmail' and 'Deliberate wounding'. It was learned that Hakan Ç., who was held hostage at home, had 1 visit to the police for the crime of 'Drug use', and Görkem Serkan T. had 14 visits to the police for 'Drug trafficking', 'Drug use', 'Insult' and 'Negligent injury'. Zeki A., İdris A., Tarık O. and Suat Eren D., who were referred to the courthouse after their procedures, were arrested by the court. Hakan C. and Görkem Serkan T. were released on condition of judicial control.

In the statement of Görkem Serkan T. (25), who was rescued by the police teams, "I called the person named Zaza, who was with Mahsun, and told him that I would come to him on the condition that he did not kill me, and he gave me a location. So, wanting it to be a different place, I described a car wash in Pendik Güzelyalı and we met there. They put me in a gray vehicle. There were 4 people in the vehicle and I did not know any of them, they started beating me. Somewhere on the highway, I found a black car wash. They put me in the vehicle. There were 4 people in the vehicle and one of them was a person named Yusuf. They continued to beat me in the vehicle. They took my phone from me and turned it off. After a while, they took me to an apartment and made me sit on a chair. There, the person named Yusuf started to torture me by asking me questions. "The person deeply cut my little finger on my right hand, the left side of my eye, and my right arm. After a while, they brought Hakan to me and started beating him. They also melted the nylon on his back."

In the continuation of Görkem Serkan T.'s statement, "After a while, a person named Yusuf left and later a person named Zeki A. came to us. The person named Zeki had a gun and was constantly hitting Hakan and me on the head with the butt of the gun. The next day, when no one was around, Hakan stood up and walked out of the room with small steps while his feet were tied and came back. After a while, there was a knock on the door of the flat and the police teams entered the house shouting 'Police'. Then we were taken to the hospital." "They took him away and then brought him to the police station," he said.

In the statement of the rescued Hakan Ç. (25), "On September 19, around 14:00, we went out with a friend for a drive. While I was driving on the road, my vehicle gave a tire pressure warning. I entered the gas station to put air in the tire. At that moment, two more vehicles entered behind us. Onur was in one of these vehicles. I went up to him and said, 'Are you following me?' Onur responded to me, 'Okay. Is that so, brother? We saw you on the road and I followed you when you entered. On September 19, one of my friends from the neighborhood called me. He said that someone came to my house and asked for the license plate number of my vehicle, and that they were Yusuf Y., whom I knew from the neighborhood. I called the person named Yusuf directly and said, "Why are you asking for my license plate?" At that moment, Mahsun, who was with him, picked up the phone and addressed me. He said, 'You will come to me, I will take your brother, who has cancer, and leave him paralyzed. I caught Görkem and showed his picture with a purple face. You will come to me immediately. I was afraid that he would infect my family. Then he gave me a location in Pendik Güzelyalı. I went to the location he had mentioned, alone. When I went, they put me in a black vehicle. They started beating me in the vehicle. After a while, they took me to an office and continued to beat me. After a while, they took me out of the vehicle and took my phone, which was used to reset my phone. After a while, they put me in a green vehicle and continued to beat me. After a while, they took me out of the vehicle and took me to an apartment. When I went to the apartment, Görkem was there and his face was unrecognizable because he had been beaten. They tied my hands and mouth and started beating us both. They melted nylon on my and Görkem's backs and burned them."

In the continuation of Hakan Ç.'s statement, "After a while, they left us tied up and Zeki A. happened to us. On the morning of September 20, the person named Zeki was with us again and had a gun in his hand. He hit Görkem and me in the head several times with the butt of this gun. While we were in this room, we were lying on the bed with our hands, feet and mouth tied. After a while, the person named Zeki left the room, there was no one around us. I also had an opportunity. I stood up and took small steps towards the window and looked out, hoping someone would see me. At that moment, I came face to face with a woman and asked for help, showing my tied hand. After a while, the person named Zeki came to us and continued to beat Görkem and me.
