The fire that broke out in a two-storey house in Kastamonu spread to 9 more houses: 10 houses became unusable

A fire broke out in a two-storey wooden house in Göl District of Deresökü village of Kastamonu's İnebolu district in the morning for an unknown reason.

Upon notice, 20 fire extinguishers from the center, İnebolu, Devrekani, Abana, Seydiler, Küre, Taşköprü fire brigades, the center, İnebolu, Devrekani forest enterprise, Special Provincial Administration and Kastamonu Disaster and Emergency Directorate were directed to the region.

The fire, which grew in a short time, spread to 9 more houses next to Tufan's house.

The fire was brought under control as a result of the work carried out and 10 houses became unusable.

Stating that he woke up the neighbors and the surrounding people by shouting, Akdemir said, "I went to check on my friend living in the house, and he had also left the house. We were the first to intervene in the fire, but we could not get it under control. We do not know whether the fire broke out from the electrical contact on the roof of the house or the spark between the chimney. When a fire broke out in the house, citizens who had a barn took the animals to a safe place. We did not lose any lives." he said.
