Statements from Kayserispor Regarding Bet Transfer

Kayserispor Club Vice President and Press Spokesperson Emir Akpınar, who was among the names referred to the Professional Football Disciplinary Board by the Turkish Football Federation Legal Consultancy on the grounds of "betting", made a statement regarding the allegations against him.

Akpınar argued that the evaluations against him were unrealistic and said that the facts would soon be revealed through official records.

"THE TRUTH WILL BE REVEALED THROUGH OFFICIAL RECORDS"

Emir Akpınar used the following statements in his statement:

"It is necessary to reveal what information and whose guidance the unrealistic evaluations about me are based on. The false information and guidance that caused my name to be discussed in public in this way due to this unfounded allegation against me is unacceptable."

Akpınar said, "The facts will soon be revealed through official records. In this process, I respectfully inform the public that I reserve all my legal rights regarding people who provide untrue information, mislead and damage my reputation."

SAMET KOÇ ALSO MADE A STATEMENT

According to Faruk Aydemir's report, Kayserispor's former press spokesman Samet Koç also made a statement after his name was included in the list made public by TFF within the scope of the betting investigation.

While Koç emphasized that he did not place bets during his time as a manager, he stated that he would transparently share the betting allegations against him with the public.

"I NEVER PLAYED A BET LIKE THIS"

Samet Koç used the following statements in his statement:

"I think it is necessary to make this statement, considering the information made public by TFF today that my name is on the list of those who manage sports clubs and whose names are involved in the betting investigation."

Koç continued his words as follows:

"I would like to state that I will transparently announce to the public the betting claim they will forward to me. I know that I have never made such a bet, neither before nor after, during my time as a manager, and I know that confusion will come to light."

"THIS SITUATION IS VERY SAD"

Samet Koç also made evaluations about the way the names were reflected in the public within the scope of the betting investigation.

Koç said, "However, another point I would like to draw attention to is that people who have made coupons of 50-100 TL in the past, among the names announced, do not affect the outcome of any match, are perceived as if they intervened in the outcome of the match by betting for or against their own team. This situation is quite sad."
