Kılıçdaroğlu supported Mansur Yavaş's CHP resignation statement

Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who was "appointed" as CHP Chairman by court decision, made a written statement regarding Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş's resignation from CHP.

In his written statement, Kılıçdaroğlu said that Yavaş was a politician "who was brought to CHP by him" and referred to the sentence used by Mansur Yavaş in his resignation announcement.

"Mr Yavaş used the following statements in his statement to the public: 'Loyalty to the will of the voters is the honor of politics'" said Kılıçdaroğlu, emphasizing that they fully agree with these evaluations.

"WE ALSO AGREE WITH THESE ASSESSMENTS OF YAVAŞ"

Kılıçdaroğlu's written statement is as follows:

"Mr. Mansur Yavaş is a valuable politician that I brought to the Republican People's Party.

Mr. Yavaş used the following statements in his statement to the public: 'When people go to the polls, they vote not only for a name, but also for a political will. For this reason, I did not find it right to ignore the will of the voters and to move the positions obtained with their votes to political addresses that the voters did not approve of, and I still do not find it right today. Loyalty to the will of the voters is the honor of politics.'

"We fully agree with Mr. Mansur Yavaş's assessments."
