Gym Takeover Fight in Kızılırmak District: 1 Dead, 1 Injured

The incident took place yesterday evening on Kızılırmak District 1450th Street. Two groups, who had a receivables issue due to the transfer of the gym, argued on the phone. Thereupon, Taner Aksoy (37), Kenan B. (31) and Bahattin Ş. (37) came to the gym. The new owner of the salon, Halil T. (41), opened fire with a shotgun at 3 people who got out of the vehicle with a gun. The other side responded by opening fire with a gun. While Taner Aksoy lost his life, Kenan B. was injured.

Footage of the incident captured by the gym's security camera emerged. The footage shows the moments when Taner Aksoy and his entourage arrived at the gym by car and Halit T. opened fire with a shotgun he took from the backseat of the parked jeep.

Police teams, Halil T. and Emircan İ., who were not injured in the incident. and detained Bahattin Ş. from the other side. 3 pistols and 1 rifle were seized from the suspects. The procedures of the detained suspects at the police station continue.
