Attack on King Khalid International Airport passenger terminal

Another attack was carried out at King Khalid International Airport near Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. In the statement made by the Arab Coalition led by Saudi Arabia, which fights against the Iranian-backed Houthis in Yemen and supports the internationally recognized Yemeni government, it was reported that an unknown ammunition hit the passenger terminal number 4 at the facility and a fire broke out. While emergency teams intervened in the fire, no statement has been made yet regarding whether there was any loss of life, injury or extensive material damage in the incident.

Authorities stated that a missile detected near the airport was blocked and destroyed by the intervention of air defense systems. The statement did not yet provide any details regarding the source of the attack.
