Opinion in the murder of Kubilay Kaan Kundakçı

The prosecutor announced his opinion in the murder case of football player Kubilay Kaan Kundakçı. The prosecutor, who demanded life imprisonment and 4 years imprisonment for Alaaddin Kadayıfçıoğlu, also requested acquittal for İzzet Yıldızhan. The prosecutor requested up to 1 year in prison and release for Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu.

The prosecutor announced his opinion about the detained defendants Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu, Alaattin Kadayıfçıoğlu, Hüseyin Can Avcı, Mustafa Rece, Metin Kadayıfçıoğlu, Engin Taşkıran and Ahmet Özkoç and the undetained defendants Zuhal Kalaycıoğlu, Bilal Kadayıfçıoğlu and İzzet Yıldızhan regarding the murder of football player Kubilay Kaan Kundakçı in an armed attack in Ümraniye.

Prosecutor; While demanding life imprisonment and up to 4 years' imprisonment for Alaattin Kadayıfçıoğlu for the crimes of "intentional murder" and "possession of unlicensed weapons", he demanded up to 1 year imprisonment for Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu for the crime of not reporting the crime and requested her release. He also requested acquittal for mother Zuhal Kalaycıoğlu and folk singer İzzet Yıldızhan.

The incident took place on the night of March 19 in Sıddık Street, Ümraniye district. Allegedly, musician Vahap Canbay wanted to reconcile with singer Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu, with whom he broke up a while ago. Canbay asked for help from his friend Kubilay Kaan Kundakçı (21), with whom he was on good terms. Kubilay Kaan Kundakçı, together with Vahap Canbay and his friends, went to the front of the studio where Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu was. While the group was waiting in the vehicle, the suspects, who allegedly came to the scene with flashing luxury vehicles, carried out the attack. Kundakçı, who was the target of bullets and was seriously injured, died despite all the interventions made in the hospital where he was taken.
