North Korea's reaction to the US-South Korea exercise

The North Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs made a statement regarding the "Ulchi Freedom Shield" military exercise between the USA and South Korea, which will start on Monday, August 17 and last for 11 days.

'An AGGRESSIVE WAR REHEARSAL'

In the statement, the exercise between the USA and South Korea was described as "a rehearsal for an aggressive war".

The statement, which argued that the exercise created a different level of instability in the region, said, "North Korea will express its stance more clearly against enemies in order to deal with all kinds of threats and difficulties by using its legitimate right of self-defense responsibly and decisively."

'IT WILL BE MORE DANGEROUS'

It was claimed in the statement that "this year's exercise will be more serious, provocative and dangerous than last year" and that the exercise will include all the military assets and war methods of the USA and South Korea.
