Comedian Grégory Guillotin targeted by a complaint for domestic violence and harassment

Comedian Grégory Guillotin, known for his hidden cameras, is the target of a complaint for domestic violence and harassment filed in June by his ex-partner, AFP learned on Friday September 3, which consulted the complaint. The complaint was filed on June 17 with the public prosecutor of the Evry judicial court (Essonne). Asked to know if an investigation had been opened, the prosecution indicated that “no investigation service (had) been contacted” at this stage.

“My client showed great courage by denouncing years of beatings, insults and denigration from her former partner, whom she met on social networks when she was only 19 and he was 35. Today, she fears more than anything that the acts of which she was the victim will be repeated on other women,” declared Me Jean-Baptiste Riolacci, contacted by AFP. “She provided the prosecution with all the concrete elements gathered to support her complaint. She has confidence in the justice system, which is now responsible for assessing its scope,” he added.

Slap, kick

The complainant, aged 27 today, accuses Grégory Guillotin of repeated physical and psychological violence between 2019 and 2026, at the time of their relationship. In her complaint, of which AFP was informed, she describes a system of surveillance, humiliation, insults and control. According to his version, the first blows were carried out in April 2022 at the couple's home, located in the Paris suburbs. An episode which will be followed by others, she says: a kick in December 2022 during a stay in the Maldives, a slap and several kicks during a trip to Morocco in 2023, a punch in one eye in 2024...

The complainant says that during this same stay in Morocco, after slapping her and throwing a bowl of cereal in her face, he falsely told her that he had canceled her return plane ticket. Still according to his story, the year before their separation, Gregory Guillotin had surveillance cameras installed in their home, claiming to want to monitor a craftsman working in the house for work.

“In reality, this system was also used to constantly observe the actions and actions” of his partner, Grégory Guillotin directing her “immediately reproaches (...) when she was resting, delayed in responding to his messages or did not carry out the tasks expected according to his criteria”, accuses the complaint. Contacted by AFP, he did not wish to react at this stage.
