Iranian Revolutionary Guards attack boats in the Strait of Hormuz

Iran's Revolutionary Guards announced in the evening that they had attacked several vessels - including some allegedly linked to the United States - in retaliation for earlier American attacks on Iranian oil tankers. Referring to the morning's attacks, the Guards said their naval forces subsequently "targeted three oil tankers plying an unauthorized route in the Strait of Hormuz and three vessels traced back to 'child-killing' America in other areas," warning other vessels not to attempt to transit unapproved routes.
