The fire that broke out in the neighborhood was brought under control with the intervention of fire brigade and forestry teams.

Upon notice, fire brigade and forestry teams were dispatched to the region. Police teams also warned the people living in the surrounding houses to go out as a precaution. Some neighborhood residents who left their homes took their pets with them.

Neighborhood residents watered dry grass with garden hoses to prevent the flames from spreading. While Havva Karaman, who thought that her house was damaged by fire, shed tears, her neighbors consoled Karaman.

The fire, which damaged many trees and items in the gardens of some houses, was brought under control with the intervention of the teams, which lasted about 1 hour.

Havva Karaman, who panicked when the flames surrounded her house, cried for a long time in her chair. His neighbors consoled Karaman by saying that the fire did not reach his house. Havva Karaman said, "I have a house next to the flames. Whoever burned it should be blinded. My arm was broken 2 months ago. I was staying with my daughter. This fire started. God protected our house and our hearth, otherwise where would I go?"

Ramazan Akbiliç, a resident of the neighborhood, said, "Our aunt Havva had a house in the back. We thought she was at home and ran immediately. Thank God, she was not at home. We also intervened, but the houses were saved from burning at the last minute with the intervention of the fire brigade."
