Man charged with rape of children after church contact

It was in connection with the man looking for references a few years ago that representatives of the congregation contacted the woman to inquire about what had happened between them a number of times before.

The woman ended up going to the police and reporting him for rape. He was charged with child rape.

According to the indictment, the girl must have stated that the abuse took place outside the walls of the church and that the man had persuaded her to sneak out to meet him. Among other things, he is said to have said that: "God has brought us together" and "according to the Bible, this is okay if the man is much older".

The evidence against the man includes large amounts of text messages between him and the woman.
