The number of detentions in the school attack in Manisa Turgutlu increased to 9

The number of detentions regarding the incident in which 11 students were injured, 3 seriously, as a result of H.O. (15) opening fire with a shotgun on the street where the students went to school, near the high school in Turgutlu district of Manisa, increased to 9.

Fire was opened with a hunting rifle at around 08:00 yesterday, on the street where students come to school, near Turgutlu İnci Üzmez Vocational Technical and Anatolian High School.

11 students were injured, 3 seriously, in the incident. Upon notice, medical teams and security forces were dispatched to the region. The injured were taken to surrounding hospitals by ambulances.

H.O. It was determined that . As a result of the work of the teams, the suspect H.O. 8 suspects, including his mother, father and grandfather, were detained.

THE NUMBER OF DETENTIONS INCREASED TO 9

It was reported that 1 more person was detained within the scope of the investigation carried out by the Turgutlu Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. Thus, the number of detentions in the investigation increased to 9.

EDUCATION AT SCHOOL WAS SUSPENDED FOR 1 DAY

While the Ministry of National Education appointed 3 inspectors regarding the incident, education at the school was suspended for 1 day. The Ministry of Justice also announced that 2 public prosecutors were assigned to the incident.
