Mayday's Masa to Collaborate with Accusefive at JJA Music Festival

Previously, during Mayday's "Back to That Day" tour, a skit video featured a fun interaction between Masa and Accusefive. In the video, Masa, Yun An, and Zhe Qian formed a band called "Kao Wu Ren" (靠五人), while Quan Qing worked as staff. Now, the "Kao Wu Ren" combination is set to reunite. Today (3rd), Masa and Accusefive both attended the "2026 Trendy Taipei JJA Ticket Sales Press Conference." Masa is not only one of the curators but will also perform with Accusefive as a limited-time group.

One of the core activities of the "2026 Trendy Taipei TRENDY TAIPEI" International Urban Festival is the "Taipei Music Expo (TMEX)," which will be held from August 27th to August 30th at the Beiliu Park. Another highly anticipated event for fans is the "JAM JAM ASIA Asian Music Festival (JJA)." The chief planner for this event is Huang Yun-ling, who recently stepped down as the chairman of Beiliu and is serving as the chairman of the Golden Melody Awards jury this year. Other curators include Mayday's Masa, Fan Hsiao-chuan, Yan She's principal "Dila Pang," Woozi Studio, and Taiwanese Waves founder "Mia" Yan Min, and Good Show Lab founder Liu Baijun.

Masa will not only be a curator but will also perform with Accusefive. Masa revealed that his lifelong dream since forming bands was "to have a female lead singer!" He jokingly added, "If I don't take this opportunity to perform on the JJA stage, I might not get another chance later!"

As Mayday is set to return to the Taipei Dome for concerts starting July 3rd, and Masa will be busy with JJA curation and performance, he said, "I'm really burning the candle at both ends! I have to find time to practice with both bands, I'm so afraid I won't have enough time!" He laughed and said, "I hope they (Accusefive) won't see through my act and think the senior isn't that great, and then there won't be a next time!" In reality, Masa is overthinking it. Accusefive's Yun An praised Masa, saying, "Brother Sha corrects himself, he's someone with very high self-requirements." Quan Qing also expressed anticipation for future opportunities to arrange music or produce new songs with Masa.

Additionally, Masa has arranged for Golden Melody Award winner Yang Nai-wen to join the JJA lineup. He revealed, "I've admired Nai-wen's voice, musical taste, and stage presence since her debut! I really want to experience it firsthand, and also let more friends experience her live charm together!" He jokingly called this one of the privileges of being a curator.

The JJA Music Festival will take place on August 29th and 30th. Priority ticket sales for Cathay United Bank CUBE Credit Card holders will begin on June 8th, followed by general sales on June 10th. Tickets can be purchased through the ibon ticketing system and at all 7-11 ibon machines across Taiwan.
