Mertxe Aizpurua will not repeat as an EH Bildu candidate for Congress by her own decision

EH Bildu's spokesperson in Congress, Mertxe Aizpurua, will not repeat as a candidate in the November 29 elections by her own decision.

Aizpurua, who turned 66 last January, considers that a stage has ended and plans to retire soon after three terms in which he has been the visible face of EH Bildu in the Lower House.

The nationalist party, led by Arnaldo Otegi, will announce on October 16 the candidacies it proposes to Congress and the Senate for the general elections of November 29, which will be voted on by the militants on the 17th and 18th and proclaimed on the 19th.

This is the calendar for the appointment of candidates for the Cortes Generales that EH Bildu has designed for Álava, Bizkaia, Gipuzkoa and Navarra.
