Heavy rain warning from Meteorology for the Eastern Black Sea

According to the latest evaluations made by the General Directorate of Meteorology; The northern parts of the country are expected to be partly cloudy and sometimes very cloudy.

It is estimated that the eastern coasts of the Western Black Sea, the Central and Eastern Black Sea coasts and the northeast of Eastern Anatolia will experience local showers and thunderstorms.

It is stated that rainfall will be locally heavy on the Eastern Black Sea coast.

It is estimated that air temperatures will decrease by 4 to 6 degrees in the northern and central parts of the country and remain around seasonal norms, and there will be no significant change in other places.

Winds are expected to blow generally from the north, from the south in the southeastern parts, with light winds, occasionally with medium strength, and with strong winds (40-60 km/h) in the south and west of Marmara, the Coastal Aegean, the inner and high parts of the Mediterranean and the west of Eastern Anatolia.

The showers and thunderstorms expected in the Eastern Black Sea region are expected to be locally heavy in the eastern part of Giresun, in the western and eastern districts of Trabzon, throughout Rize province and in the north of Artvin, starting from the morning hours.
