Weather warning from MGM: Local showers and thunderstorms are expected

According to the latest evaluations of the General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM), local showers and thunderstorms are expected today in the Central and Eastern Mediterranean, the south and east of Central Anatolia, the coastal parts of the Western Black Sea, the Central and Eastern Black Sea, Sinop, Malatya, Erzincan, Tunceli, Gaziantep, Kilis and Adıyaman surroundings and the inner parts of the west of Antalya.

MGM stated that the rains would be heavy in parts of the Central Black Sea region outside Çorum, the Eastern Black Sea coast and Gümüşhane surroundings, the north and east of Sivas and Adana, the east of Kayseri and the west of Osmaniye, and warned citizens against possible negativities.

TEMPERATURES WILL FALL IN CENTRAL ANATOLIA AND THE BLACK SEA

On the other hand, MGM announced that as of today, air temperatures will decrease by 4 to 6 degrees in Central Anatolia and the Central and Eastern Black Sea, and will increase by 2 to 4 degrees in Marmara.
