Global management consulting firm Boston Consulting Group (BCG) estimates that generative AI can reduce enterprise-wide ERP implementation effort by 20 to 40 percent. BCG states that transferring the capacity gained through artificial intelligence to the early discovery and preparation stages can reduce uncertainty and risk. This acceleration in enterprise software projects brings to the agenda once again the issue of what businesses actually pay for in consultancy and implementation services.
