The Ministry encourages you to participate in training

The Ministry of the Interior and Administration encourages you to participate in air threat response training as part of the Academy of the Ministry of Interior and Administration - "Civil Protection and Civil Defense". Residents of the Podlaskie and Warmian-Masurian Voivodeships will practice recognizing alarm signals and warning messages, as well as appropriate actions when they are triggered. The next training sessions will take place on Saturday, September 26 at 11:00-14:00.

Where will the training take place?

Information about the points where training will take place this Saturday can be found on the websites of the PSP provincial headquarters in Białystok and Olsztyn. There will be 260 rescue and fire-fighting units of the State Fire Service, Volunteer Fire Department, fire stations and local educational points.

What will you learn on September 26?

Firefighters and experts from provincial, district and municipal headquarters of the State Fire Service, Volunteer Fire Departments, voivodes and local governments will show how:

prepare for the threat of an air attack,

recognize alarm signals and what each message means;

respond appropriately to the RCB Alert and subsequent warning messages;

find a safe place and choose it appropriately to the situation;

how to behave in a building - where to go and how to choose a safe room;

what to do if the alarm finds us outside and where to look for the nearest place of shelter;

use the “Where to Hide” app to check available shelter spots in advance;

use the "Safety Guide" and find the most important tips on how to respond.

The Ministry of the Interior and Administration is also developing a nationwide system of shelter points. By the end of the year 85 thousand such facilities throughout Poland will be marked with legible signs with the international civil protection and civil defense symbol. Information about the points is sent to the Central Register and the "Where to Hide" application, thanks to which residents can check the nearest available place of shelter and plan in advance where to go in case of an emergency. By the end of 2026, it is also planned to launch a special application enabling sending push notifications with alarm alerts, informs the ministry.
