MİT President Kalın's Kabul Contacts

According to information obtained from security sources, Kalın met with his counterpart, Director General of Intelligence (GDI) Abdulhak Vasık, as part of his visit to Kabul.

MİT President Kalın met with Afghan Interim Government (AGH) Deputy Prime Minister responsible for Economy Molla Abdul Gani Baradar, Minister of Defense Mevlevi Muhammed Yakub Mucahid and Minister of Internal Affairs Siraceddin Haqqani.

During the meetings, steps that could be taken to deepen cooperation in the field of security and intelligence between Türkiye and Afghanistan were discussed and evaluations were made on bilateral relations.

During the meetings, regional and global developments, especially the US/Israel-Iran War, were discussed, and the fight against terrorism, human trafficking and drug trafficking were also touched upon.
