Montella Made Statements After the Italy Defeat

Coach Vincenzo Montella of the National Football Team, which lost 3-1 away to Italy in the fourth match of the UEFA Nations A League 1st Group, made a statement after the match.

Here are Montella's words;

"I congratulate our players. We were in more matches than Italy. We conceded a goal without giving a chance to shoot, interesting! They took the lead from a set piece with a simple concentration error.

These experiences will improve us. I am very hopeful. Our first goal is the European Championship. We could not compete as a full squad in the Nations League.

These experiences matter at this level. We played 4 matches in a row for the first time at this level. Of course, we will use these experiences for the European Championship..."
