Motorola introduced its new smartphone Signature 27

Although Motorola regained its presence in the smartphone market with its 'foldable' phones, it also appears with flagship models. The new Motorola Signature 27, which is the continuation of the Signature series that we saw for the first time at CES 2026, stands out with its camera system and high battery capacity.

What kind of phone is Motorola Signature 27?

The phone has a 6.78-inch Extreme AMOLED Duo display with a resolution of 1272 x 2772 pixels and a 120 Hz screen refresh rate. It was announced that Signature 27 has a maximum brightness of up to 12 thousand nits. It is also claimed that this brightness is a record in its field. It is stated that this screen structure and pixel resolution provide up to 34 percent more energy efficiency.

The camera of the phone, which is said to be the best camera system, is powered by Sony. On the back, there is a 50 MP Sony LYTIA L910 main camera, a 200 MP periscope telephoto lens with 100x Super Zoom and a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle camera. What really draws attention here is the special EVS motion sensor used for the first time in a smartphone. This motion tracking hardware works with the “Action Shot” feature on the Signature 27 to help capture fast-moving subjects with greater clarity and precision.

The phone also has a 50 MP front camera and support for video recording up to 8K/30 fps on the back.

The Signature 27 model has a 7,000 mAh silicon-carbon battery and is said to last up to 66 hours in different areas of use.

The Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chip used in the phone supports Signature 27's contextual, personalized and agency-based artificial intelligence experiences through Google's Gemini Intelligence. The processor works with Motorola's redesigned ArcticMesh cooling system. This system uses a 40 percent larger vapor chamber mechanism to dissipate heat during intense workloads such as gaming and video recording.

Working with Bang & Olufsen on the speaker side, Motorola has a sound feature tailored specifically to the phone. Coaxial speakers, that is, two audio drivers integrated into a single speaker, have two drivers in the bottom speaker. One of them is for bass and the other is for treble sounds. A second speaker is located at the top of the phone.

While the starting price of the device in the USA is 1,599 dollars, the global sales price goes up to 1,899 euros. The phone will start selling on November 16 in regions such as Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and will be available for pre-order on November 19 in the USA. Its main sales will start on November 26. It is not yet known whether the phone will be sold in Türkiye.
