Ministry of Defense delegation visited Germany

According to the statement made by the Ministry of National Defense, as a reflection of the defense cooperation initiative initiated at the leadership level between the Turkish and German Ministries of Defense, the delegation of the Ministry of National Defense paid a courtesy visit to Nils Schmid, Parliamentary State Secretary of the German Federal Ministry of Defense.

The delegation then met with Martin Schafer, Policy Director of the German Federal Ministry of Defense, and his accompanying delegation.

During the meetings, opportunities for strengthening regional security, especially in current areas of conflict, protecting the common interests of the two countries and developing areas of cooperation were discussed, and views were exchanged on concrete work that could be implemented within this framework.

During the contacts, the importance of strategic cooperation between Türkiye and Germany was also emphasized and the continuation of result-oriented contacts that would contribute to regional peace and stability was confirmed.
