A 24-year-old young man dies after suffering an assault with a knife in Parla

A 24-year-old young man died this Sunday after suffering a deep wound to the neck during an attack that occurred early in the morning in Parla, where another man of the same age was seriously injured, as reported by Emergencies 112 Community of Madrid.

The first call to the 112 Emergency Center was received at 6:35 a.m. and alerted of an attack on the corner of Santo Tomás de Aquino and Macarena streets, where members of the National Police and SUMMA health workers traveled112.

Upon arrival, paramedics found a 24-year-old man with an incised wound in his neck and in cardiorespiratory arrest. The SUMMA112 team began advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers for about 40 minutes, but ultimately could not reverse the arrest and confirmed his death.

In addition, the paramedics treated another 24-year-old man, a friend of the deceased, who had a stab wound in the left chest area. The second victim has been transferred by SUMMA112 to the Puerta de Hierro Hospital in Majadahonda as potentially serious.

During the intervention, family and friends of the deceased appeared at the scene. SUMMA112 moved the psychologist on duty to pay attention to them. The National Police has taken charge of the investigation to clarify the circumstances of what happened.
