Shetteh told reporters here that Salah's career started on the football field of the center when he was a child.
Stating that Salah is one of the children of the village and his success has spread all over the world, Shetteh said, "We have reached the whole world through Muhammad Salah." he said.
Wishing success to Salah, who continues his football career in Türkiye after playing for important teams such as Liverpool, Shetteh stated that more successful days await the star football player and said, "Muhammad Salah made us proud. I was involved in football here in the past. I was one of the people who closely followed the development process of Muhammad Salah. I think Muhammad Salah is a soft power in the relations between Egypt and Türkiye." he said.
Stating that Salah is an important personality for Muslims in Europe, Shetteh said:
"Thanks to Muhammed Salah going to Türkiye, we got to know Trabzon better. Of course, we were following the Turkish league before. We knew Fenerbahçe, Trabzonspor, Galatasaray and other clubs, but after Muhammed Salah went there, our interest in Turkish football increased much more. Now we are much more excited to watch the Turkish league, follow the matches and watch Muhammed Salah. Because we are always looking for Muhammed Salah." We are supporters.
We, as the people of Nagrig, and even as the entire Egyptian people, see Muhammad Salah as a compass. Wherever Mohammed Salah goes, the eyes of the Egyptian people turn that way.
