Woman is shot by ex-partner in Inhapim; suspect committed suicide after the crime

The PM was called after the Inhapim Municipal Hospital reported the entry of the gunshot victim. The incident was recorded on Rua A, in the Santo Antônio neighborhood.

People who were at the scene told the military that the gunman was the woman's ex-partner and that he had taken his own life shortly after the crime.

At the address, police found a firearm next to the man's body. The team remained at the scene, which was preserved for the arrival of Civil Police forensics.

According to the PM, one of the shots grazed the victim's head and another went through his left leg. The other two projectiles were lodged in the pelvis and shoulder.

Until the last update of this report, there was no confirmation of the suspect's cause of death nor new details about the circumstances of the crime.
