Hearings Accelerate in Netanyahu's Corruption Case

According to the news of Israel's Maariv newspaper, the hearings of Netanyahu, whose testimony is over, are planned to be accelerated.

After Netanyahu's defense, which lasted nearly 100 days, defense witnesses and other defendants in the case are expected to take the stand one by one, with the hearing to be held today in Israel's Jerusalem District Court.

It was stated in the news that the court judges decided to exempt Netanyahu from the obligation to attend the hearings, and that the hearing would be held for 4 days this week and the process would proceed quickly.

The news included the assessment that the hearings will be held 5 days a week in October, which means an unprecedented pace for a case in Israeli history.

The Israeli Prime Minister is being tried on charges of "bribery, fraud and abuse of power" within the scope of 3 separate corruption files known as "1000", "2000" and "4000".

Netanyahu's trial was suspended in June due to the summer break in Israeli courts.
