And I will propose this ministry to a person in whom I will be 100% sure and trust that he will properly settle the large project until the end, because we are talking about billions of euros for Poland, and not about some partisan games, emphasized the head of government.

The head of government added that he had two great candidates and one of them would take this office. Tusk indicated that he was "convinced" that the person who will take over the Ministry of Funds "will gain the support of everyone" because - as he emphasized - both candidates are non-partisan and excellently prepared for the job.

Pełczyńska-Nałęcz, as the head of the Ministry of Funds, was responsible for ensuring the proper use of funds from the National Reconstruction Plan. The ministry headed by her negotiated six revisions of the KPO with the European Commission, thanks to which the so-called milestones, i.e. tasks, reforms and investments that Poland has undertaken to implement in exchange for funds from the EU Reconstruction Fund.

September 30 this year Pełczyńska-Nałęcz informed that the entire pool of funds provided for in the KPO will be invested, and the investments already completed account for 1.5%. GDP growth.
