PiS submits a draft bill "to calm down the situation in Polish families"

The presentation of the project was announced by PiS vice-president Przemysław Czarnek during Saturday's expert conference "The most expensive winter in history is coming." On Monday, during a press conference, the politician provided details of the bill.

We propose a VAT rate of 8% for all solid fuels, coal, briquettes and pellets. - said Czarnek.

In his opinion, thanks to this, "coal will be cheaper; just like briquettes, it will be cheaper by PLN 250 to PLN 300 per tonne."

Another proposal in the project is 5%. VAT rate for electricity and heat. In the politician's opinion, this will result in monthly savings of up to PLN 70 in the budget of an average family.
