OnePlus 16 Received 3C Certification: 9000 mAh Battery and 100W Charging Support

OnePlus is about to complete its preparations for its highly anticipated new flagship smartphone, OnePlus 16. The device successfully passed the 3C certification process carried out in China and thus received all mandatory legal approvals on its way to being put on the market.

The phone, registered with the model number PYB110, has officially confirmed its 100W wired fast charging support. With the previously completed SRRC and Ministry of Industry approvals, the N79 5G band support and other technical infrastructure of the device have also been finalized. OnePlus 16 is preparing to meet technology enthusiasts with an official launch in the Chinese market in October.

Battery Capacity Increases Significantly

One of the most striking innovations in the new generation flagship will be battery performance. According to information from reliable sources in the industry, OnePlus 16 is equipped with a dual-cell battery with a typical capacity of 9000 mAh. This value represents a significant capacity increase compared to the 7300 mAh level in the OnePlus 15 model. The device, which will also have 50W wireless charging support, is expected to be one of the most ambitious models of 2026 in terms of battery life.

The use of a dual-cell design aims to reduce heating problems during fast charging of the device and preserve battery life in the long term. This capacity, combined with 100W charging technology, promises users both high performance and long-term usage experience.

Camera and Processor Power Are Upgraded

The camera setup of the device also looks quite ambitious. According to leaks, there will be a huge 1/1.4 inch main sensor with a resolution of 200 MP on the back. This main camera will be accompanied by a 50 MP ultra wide-angle lens and a 50 MP periscope telephoto lens. On the hardware side, the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro processor developed with TSMC's 2nm production process, and will bring its gaming performance to the top with its Adreno 850 graphics unit.

On the software side, OnePlus 16, which will come with ColorOS 17 and Android 17 infrastructure, aims to offer a smooth user experience with a 165Hz screen refresh rate. In gaming scenarios, this speed can go up to 185Hz. These technical features show that the device will be in a very strong position in the current flagship competition.

Global Launch Remains Uncertain

The completion of all certification processes and the start of official promotional teasers indicate that a Chinese launch in October is very close. However, there is no clear information yet about whether the phone will hit international markets. Some reports raise concerns that the device may not be available globally. Still, OnePlus 16 continues to create excitement in the technology world with the technical features it offers.
