By the Presidency of Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM), the Electronic Foreign Language Exam (e-YDS 2026/9 English) will be held tomorrow, and the Medical Specialization Education Entrance Exam (2026-TUS 2nd Term) and the Placement Exam for Foreign Higher Education Diploma Equivalence in the Field of Medicine (2026-STS Medical Doctorate 2nd Term) will be held on Sunday, August 23.
According to the statement made by ÖSYM, e-YDS 2026/9 will be held in 46 halls in e-exam centers in Adana, Ankara, Istanbul and Izmir.
5 thousand 322 candidates will participate in the exam. Candidates will not be admitted to the exam, which will start at 13.45, after 13.30.
Candidates will be given 180 minutes for the test consisting of 80 questions, and disabled candidates who are deemed suitable for additional time will be able to use up to 30 minutes of additional time. Exam results will be announced on the day the exam is administered.
2026-TUS 2nd Term will be held in the form of Basic Medical Sciences Test and Clinical Medical Sciences Test in 14 provinces and 15 exam centers. 67 buildings and 1224 halls will be used for the Basic Medical Sciences Test, and 67 buildings and 1270 halls will be used for the Clinical Medical Sciences Test.
35 thousand 930 candidates will participate in the Basic Medical Sciences Test and 37 thousand 109 candidates will participate in the Clinical Medical Sciences Test.
STS Medical Doctorate 2nd Term will be held in two stages only in Ankara. One building and 4 halls will be used for the first phase, and 5 buildings and 82 halls will be used for the second phase.
51 candidates will participate in the first stage and 1577 candidates will participate in the second stage. The first phase of STS Medical Doctorate with the Basic Medical Sciences Test will start at 10.15, and the second phase of STS Medical Doctorate with the Clinical Medical Sciences Test will start at 14.45.
The tests for the two exams will consist of 100 multiple choice questions. Candidates will be given 135 minutes of response time. The morning sessions will end at 12.30, and the afternoon sessions will end at 17.00.
Candidates who are deemed appropriate to use additional time will be able to use 30 minutes of additional time for TUS. The results of the exams will be announced on September 17.
Provincial and district civil registry offices will be kept open on exam days for candidates who have lost their identity card, do not have an identity card, or do not have an identity number and photo on their identity card.
Candidates will be able to access their exam entry documents showing the location information where they will take the exams, from ÖSYM's "ais.osym.gov.tr" address.
ÖSYM President Prof. Dr. Bayram Ali Ersoy stated that they will hold 3 separate exams over the weekend.
Ersoy shared the following information about the exams: "The e-YDS, TUS and STS Medical Doctor exams to be held at the weekend are important for the education and professional lives of the candidates. As ÖSYM, it is our priority to create a safe and fair exam environment where the candidates can receive the reward of their efforts. 9 thousand 90 people, including the police officer, will work in the exams. A suitable exam environment has been created for 167 disabled candidates who applied for the exams. Veterans applying for the exams and the spouses and children of martyrs and veterans will be exempt from the exam fee. "In this context, 320 candidates benefited from this right. I wish success to the candidates who will take the exams and good luck to the officials."
