The study was initiated upon the notice of Sayyora Ergashaliyeva, who came to Turkey from Uzbekistan on December 28, from her family, who had not heard from her since January 23. During the investigation, it was determined that Sayyora was staying in the house where Uzbekistan national Durdona Khakımova was killed.
As a result of the teams' review of the security camera footage, it was determined that after Sayyora entered the house on January 23, Dilshod Turdimurotov and Gofurjon Kamalkhodjaev also entered the address. In the security camera footage, it was seen that the suspects left the house with black garbage bags several times on January 24, and then left the address with a white suitcase. It was determined that the suspects came to Fatih by commercial taxi, left the items in the suitcase in a garbage container and then went to Yenikapı Marmaray Station on foot.
As part of the investigation, during the interviews with Dilshod Turdimurotov and Gofurjon Kamalkhodjaev, who were detained for the murder of Durdona Khakımova, it was revealed that Sayyora Ergashaliyeva was also killed with a cutting tool in the same house on January 23, and her body was dismembered and left in garbage containers in different districts of Istanbul.
Detained defendants Dilshod Turdimurotov and Gofurjon Kamalkhodjaev, party lawyers and the lawyer of the Ministry of Family and Social Services attended the hearing held at the 17th Anatolian High Criminal Court.
'I KILLED SAYYORA ALONE'
In his defense, the detained defendant Gofurjon Kamalkhodjaev said, "Sayora is my religiously married wife. I do not know the other victim, Durdona. Dilshod was my friend. I killed Sayyora out of honor because she cheated on me. I did it alone. I do not want to tell the details because her family is here. The other defendant, Dilshod, did not help me. One day later, the other victim, Durdona, came to the house where I lived. Durdona and Dilshod are on good terms. değildi, barıştırırım diye düşünüyorum. Sayyora’nın telefonundan Durdona’ya ben mesaj atmadım, bilgim yok. Durdona’nın nasıl öldüğünü bilmiyorum. Sayyora öldükten sonra cesedi evdeydi. Poşetlerle kanlı battaniye ve elbiseleri alıp götürdüm. Cesedi parçalamadım. Durdona’yı ben öldürmedim, parçalamadım da. Benden Dilshod yardım istedi, onunla beraber bavulu indirdim. Bavulda ne olduğunu bilmiyordum. Sayyora’yı öldürdüğüm gece Dilshod evde "I killed Sayyora alone, no one helped me," he said.
'I DESERVE THE SEVEREST PUNISHMENT'
In his statement, the detained defendant Dilshod Turdimurotov said, "I only killed Durdona because of the issue of honor. I do not accept anything else. I dismembered the body because I was not in the right mind. There is no explanation for what I did, I regret it. I deserve the heaviest punishment. I sincerely regret it, I wish I had not done it."
Erhan Dursun, whose statement was taken as a complainant, said that he was Durdona Khakımova's wife with a religious marriage of 7 years and that the victim was officially married to someone else. Thereupon, the presiding judge said, "If you do not have an official marriage with the victim, you cannot be heard as a complainant. How can you have a religious marriage with a person who has an official marriage? At least do not use religion in these matters."
Announcing his opinion on the merits at the hearing, the public prosecutor requested that both defendants be sentenced to 7 years in prison twice for the crime of "Theft at home by taking advantage of the death of a person" and to be sentenced to aggravated life imprisonment twice each for the crime of "Deliberate murder with a monstrous feeling or infliction of suffering".
DECISION HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED
Announcing its decision, the court sentenced both defendants to aggravated life imprisonment twice for the crime of "premeditated murder with a monstrous feeling or infliction of torture" and to two terms of 7 years imprisonment each for the crime of "burglary at home by taking advantage of the death of a person".
FROM THE INDICTMENT
In the indictment prepared by the Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was stated that the defendants acted in action and cooperation on the day of the incident and killed Sayyora Ergashaliyeva with a knife before the victims, separated her head, feet and arms, and threw them into garbage containers near the scene in a garbage bag, and threw the main body of the body into the garbage bin near the mosque in Fatih district. Subsequently, the defendants came to the same house again and killed Durdona Khakımova with a knife, dismembered her and then threw her into the garbage container along with the garbage bag and suitcase. It was stated in the indictment that the defendants acted in cooperation. In the indictment, it was requested that both defendants be punished with aggravated life imprisonment and imprisonment from 5 to 10 years each for the crimes of "Deliberate murder with monstrous feelings or by inflicting torture" and "Theft by taking advantage of the death of a person".
