Passenger dies after feeling ill during flight from ES to SP and plane makes emergency landing

In a note sent to g1, Gol reported that, during the flight, the crew was called to provide first aid, with the help of a doctor who was among the passengers. The minor was taken to a hospital in the region, accompanied by his parents, but died upon arrival at the unit. (See the full note below)

g1 was unable to contact the victim's family. The company did not disclose the name or age of the passenger.

The aircraft landed at Guarulhos Airport at 7:16 am, 19 minutes before the scheduled time. An ambulance was already waiting at the scene to provide assistance.

A passenger who was on the flight and preferred not to identify himself told the reporter that the child fell ill three rows in front of his seat and that his mother called the crew.

According to the report, a doctor who was also traveling on the aircraft volunteered to help and, together with the crew, took the passenger to the back of the plane.

While the service was being carried out, the child's mother cried and prayed, according to the passenger. He also reported that the other occupants of the aircraft were shaken when following the situation.

Guarulhos Airport reported that it supported the airline's request for landing priority and mobilized an emergency team on the runway. According to the terminal administration, first aid was provided and the passenger was taken to the nearest hospital.

"Gol informs that during the landing procedure of flight G3 1389 this Thursday (05/11), between Vitória (VIX) and Guarulhos (GRU), an underage passenger, traveling with his parents, fell ill and, immediately, priority was requested for landing.

On board, the crew team provided first aid, with the support of a doctor who was among the passengers. The aircraft touched down at 7:16 am (19 minutes before the scheduled time), all protocols for this type of situation were followed and the passenger was taken by ambulance to a hospital in Guarulhos", concluded the company.
