PF evaluates taking the Master case to the STF and asking Fachin for a definition of the ministers mentioned

The assessment within the PF, according to these sources, is that the case is at the public limit of exposure -- and that, to give any continuity to what has been stated, a response from the president of the court, Edson Fachin, is necessary.

Mentions of ministers and information about their relations with Vorcaro or people linked to the Master group became public. At the same time, pressure has increased for the police to deal with this material.

Given this scenario, investigators say that the understanding is to take the situation to the president of the STF, Edson Fachin, so that he can decide what should be done in relation to the ministers mentioned.

The idea is to repeat, now in an even more institutionally tied way, the path adopted in the case of Dias Toffoli at the beginning of the year: ministers accused the PF of deciding on its own to move forward against the member of the STF. And, to investigate a STF minister, the material needs to be submitted to the Court's leadership to define the next steps. The PF denies that it did this.

Among the ministers who appeared, in different contexts, in the material or discussions surrounding the Master case, are: Dias Toffoli, Alexandre de Moraes and Kassio Nunes Marques. Citations, in and of themselves, do not mean participation in irregularities.

This point is important because, since the beginning of the crisis, there has been a dispute over who can investigate Supreme Court ministers and under what circumstances. The PF itself was the target of criticism in the episode involving Toffoli, including after the leak of a meeting about the case.

What is expected now is the confirmation of an agenda with the president of the STF. The PF intends to take the material to Fachin, explain his position and ask him to define what the course of action should be in relation to the mentioned ministers.

With what has already become public and the pressure for a response, the PF understands that it cannot simply ignore the material — but the idea is to put the case in Fachin's hands so that he can decide what to do.
