SEOUL, Aug. 29 (Yonhap) -- The chief executive of South Korean kids content brand The Pinkfong Company, which created the globally popular "Baby Shark" video, has said the company will expand the video's storyline by showing off the shark family's younger sibling and friends.
Kim Min-seok, chief executive of the Pinkfong Company, told Yonhap News Agency in an interview Saturday that the company plans to let children enjoy "Baby Shark" in various fields, including animation, movie and performance.
"Over the past ten years or so, we have maintained the "Baby Shark" family with mother, father, grandmother, and grandfather," Kim said.
"During the first half of next year, a younger sibling and friends of "Baby Shark" will be unveiled, and the story will be expanded along with them," Kim said.
