Electoral reporting platform exceeds 100 registrations in Acre

The Pardal app surpassed 100 reports of irregular electoral propaganda in Acre this Monday (14). Voters have registered 104 incidents since August 16th.

The capital Rio Branco leads the complaints with 87 records. Of the total occurrences in the state, 50 involve campaigns by government candidates.

Complaints on the internet account for 24 records of the total collected. To report with guaranteed confidentiality, the voter must identify themselves in the application.

The Pardal app, from the Superior Electoral Court (TSE), exceeded 100 complaints in Acre.

Acre voters registered 104 incidents related to electoral advertisements through the platform between August 16th and this Monday (14th).

The capital Rio Branco is the city with the highest number of complaints, with 87 records. Next come Cruzeiro do Sul, with six, and Xapuri, with three.

The municipalities of Brasiléia, Sena Madureira and Feijó registered two reports each, while Porto Walter and Tarauacá registered one report.

Also according to the Electoral Court, 50 complaints were made due to the self-promotion of candidates for the state government.

On the other hand, 23 complaints were made against candidates for state deputy and another 17 were against federal deputies and four against candidates for the senate.

There were 24 complaints due to advertisements on the internet, another fifteen of acts on public roads, such as rallies and flags, and twelve were related to public assets, which refer to irregularities or misuse of assets that belong to the state.

Election propaganda began on August 16th. The distribution of pamphlets, stickers and leaflets is permitted. The printed material must have the identification of the person responsible. Furthermore, it is prohibited to scatter candidate saints on the street.

On the internet, technological tools to manipulate or adulterate audio and images to spread false information about candidates are prohibited. The action of paid influencers, use of customer databases and company profiles advertising are also prohibited.

How to report?

To register an irregularity, the voter must identify themselves using the Gov.br account or the e-Título application. The identity of the complainant is protected by legal confidentiality.

The system allows you to attach photos, videos, audio files or links that prove suspected illegality. When registering a complaint, the person must write the alleged irregularity.

Then, an automated agent makes a preliminary classification of the occurrence into two categories: irregular electoral propaganda on the internet and other types of irregularities.

Upon completion of the procedure, a protocol number is issued for follow-up.
