PM rescues kidnapping victim and arrests two suspects in São Paulo

According to the PM, teams from the 43rd Metropolitan Military Police Battalion were called at around 12:45 pm following a complaint. Upon arriving at a property, the police heard screams for help and found two men inside the garage, next to a Fiat Palio.

During the approach, officers located the driver in the back seat of the vehicle. He was tied and gagged and, according to the corporation, was in a state of shock.

The victim told the police that she was held against her will and had been attacked since approximately 10 am.

During the investigation, the PM also located the truck that was driven by the man. The vehicle was carrying a load of stainless steel sheets.

According to the police, the car and the two suspects were involved in cargo theft in the battalion's region of operation.

The two men were arrested and taken, along with the vehicles, to the 73rd Police District, in Jaçanã.

The Public Security Secretariat (SSP) had not commented until the last update of this report.
