Itaquaquecetuba City Hall investigates secretary's conduct after discussion with municipal guard

At the beginning of the recording, a couple is seen arguing with agents of the Municipal Civil Guard (GCM). One of the guards states that the two accused him of poor service and said they would call the secretary. The City Hall ordered an investigation into the case.

In another segment, with Caldeira already present, the discussion becomes more tense. The secretary points his finger at the agent and tries to take something from him. It is not possible to identify from the images what the object might be.

During the argument, the guard accuses Caldeira of coercion and reports being emotionally distressed due to his work. He also states that he would seek medical attention at a hospital. The secretary responds that he is also undergoing treatment.

In July, Anderson Caldeira was involved in another altercation during a house demolition operation in an irregular area in Jardim Cristiano. The secretary was knocked down during the operation, which demolished properties on Osvaldo Cruz Street and involved teams from the Civil Defense and the Municipal Civil Guard.

Through a statement, the City Hall of Itaquaquecetuba informed that it had become aware of the facts and the images sent by the press and ordered the competent authorities to investigate the case.

According to the municipal administration, the analysis will be carried out “in a technical, impartial manner and within the administrative procedures provided by law.”

Regarding the health and possible leave of the involved civil servants, the city hall stated that this information is handled in accordance with administrative regulations and protected by medical and functional confidentiality.

The administration further declared that it does not condone conduct that violates legislation, the principles of public administration, or the functional duties of agents, regardless of their position or function.

According to the city hall, any conclusions will only be released after the facts have been investigated by the competent authorities.
