Socialist primary: Philippe Brun suspended from the PS as a precautionary measure and excluded from the race

To everyone's surprise, Philippe Brun, who assured that he had obtained the necessary sponsorships, was suspended this Wednesday morning as a precautionary measure from the PS “due to accusations of violence”, de facto excluding him from the nomination race. “I learned with astonishment this morning of my protective suspension from the Socialist Party and my ban on being able to run in the primary,” reacted the deputy for Eure.

“A former colleague whom I dismissed for serious misconduct would have informed the party leadership yesterday at 11:50 p.m. of facts that could be classified as criminal,” he said. Philippe Brun assures that he does not “know” the facts with which he is “accused”, regretting not having been “heard by the party commissions”.

“I note that on the basis of a report sent yesterday at 11:50 p.m. we are preventing a parliamentarian who has gathered all his sponsorships from being a candidate,” he added on his social networks.
