Quality QR codes for private clinics are being developed in Russia

In Russia, a project of special quality QR codes for private clinics is being developed.

The QR code will allow you to check whether the clinic has a license, as well as learn about other criteria for its quality.

The tool is planned to be developed based on Honest Sign technologies in a simple and understandable format, for example, in a traffic light format.

NEW DELHI, September 11 - RIA Novosti. A project of special QR quality codes for private clinics is being developed in Russia; such a mechanism will protect people from low-quality services, Deputy General Director of the Center for the Development of Advanced Technologies (CRPT, operator of the Honest Sign system) Revaz Yusupov told RIA Novosti.

“Now there is an initiative, together with the Public Consumer Initiative and Rospotrebnadzor, to have a QR code appear in private clinics. This is not a labeling code, but a QR code that leads into the system. It automatically checks a number of criteria, whether there are violations in the sale of labeled products, whether they are registered in the system, and so on. It checks from medical registers whether this clinic has a license. A person, by pointing at the QR code, actually receives information whether it is good or not. this clinic or not,” Yusupov said on the sidelines of the Innoprom India industrial exhibition.

He added that the tool is planned to be developed based on Honest Sign technologies. Now consumers, using the Honest Sign mobile application, can check a product right at the shelf, view information about it, and make sure it is legal. Similarly, by pointing at the QR code of a private clinic, it will be possible to find out its quality.

“We understand that it (the tool - ed.) should not overload the consumer and should be clear and simple, for example, in the format of a traffic light. A person points at the code, scans and understands that the clinic is either green or red. If it is red, then because it does not have a license, violations, selling expired products. Green means that the clinic is doing well, there are good doctors and it is safe to be treated here,” Yusupov explained.
