The unprecedented crisis in the STF - Federal Supreme Court had new turbulent chapters this Friday (11). Minister André Mendonça complied with a decision from the president, Luiz Edson Fachin, and released, on Thursday night (10), the secrecy of 15 investigations into the Banco Master case.
On Friday night (11), André Mendonça made another 38 investigations public. Friday was marked by an official war between Court ministers.
In the order made at 10:20 pm on Thursday (10), the president of the STF, Edson Fachin, requested “the sending, in a specific HD, to the Presidency and the ministers' offices, of all procedures contained in or related to Petition 15,556, as well as the lifting of secrecy (and the procedures contained therein or related to it)”.
The petition cited is the investigation that led to the second preventive arrest of Daniel Vorcaro, owner of Master, in March 2026. In the order, Fachin makes the reservation that “only what concerns steps whose secrecy is essential to carrying out the measure” should not be made public. André Mendonça's response came an hour later. The minister listed the material that was released by the cabinet.
Throughout this Friday (11), ministers of the Supreme Court and the Attorney General's Office made several requests to Fachin about the material that should have its confidentiality lifted and about Tuesday's session (15).
Minister Alexandre de Moraes wants the inclusion in the session of the analysis of the Federal Police intelligence report that questions André Mendonça's conduct in the INSS and Banco Master fraud investigations. Fachin had called the session to discuss only the report that shows the relationship between Moraes and Vorcaro.
According to Moraes, holding a joint trial would avoid “a concrete risk of contradictory decisions and procedural turmoil”. Moraes stated that Mendonça made a selective choice of what would be made public and said that 180 documents were still confidential. Moraes also requested the summons of all members of the judiciary mentioned, so that they can provide information and guarantee the necessary measures to defend the prerogatives of the Judiciary.
Minister Cristiano Zanin requested access to the full messages contained on Vorcaro's cell phone. The Deputy Attorney General of the Republic, Hindemburgo Chateaubriand Filho, also asked for the disclosure of investigations relating to Operation Compliance Zero - which brings together all investigations into fraud committed by Banco Master. In response to the PGR's request, the president of the STF, minister Edson Fachin, asked minister André Mendonça to release, within 24 hours, the material related to Operation Compliance Zero.
In another order, André Mendonça stated that his office only had a sealed copy of the data extracted from Daniel Vorcaro's cell phone and that the device is with the PF. Mendonça further responded that "all the effectively available parts of Petition 15,556 were duly publicized", that is: they are public, without secrecy.

Update
On Friday night (11), André Mendonça removed the confidentiality of another 20 investigations. Among them, cases involving the senator from Piauí Ciro Nogueira, the former governor of Rio Cláudio Castro, the senator from Bahia Jaques Wagner and the case of the film "Dark Horse", about Jair Bolsonaro.
"These documents are beginning to enter the Federal Supreme Court system. We continue to monitor them to provide more details in this edition," said reporter Cláudia Bomtempo.
The battle of the crafts continues into the night. Before Mendonça's decision, Minister Cristiano Zanin had sent a letter to President Edson Fachin insisting on full access to the contents of the banker's cell phone. According to Zanin, all ministers must have the same opportunity to analyze the elements of the process.
Alexandre de Moraes also made the same request for access to the full content of the seized cell phone and stated that it is not up to minister-rapporteur André Mendonça to choose which documents are accessible to colleagues. Moraes called Mendonça's lifting of secrecy "selective" and spoke of "protecting a certain political group."
The dean, minister Gilmar Mendes, asked Edson Fachin to take over the case regarding the Federal Police report on messages from minister Alexandre de Moraes and Daniel Vorcaro. According to Gilmar Mendes, the process is not yet in a position to be judged by the ministers next Tuesday (15), and suggested, if Tuesday's session is maintained, that the trial begin with preliminary questions, such as the nullity presented by the Attorney General's Office.
On Friday night (11), minister-rapporteur André Mendonça once again defended the removal of Andrei Rodrigues from command of the Federal Police. It was a response to the 72-hour deadline granted by President Edson Fachin in this case. Mendonça defended the removal of Andrei Rodrigues and said that this does not harm the work of the Federal Police. The minister stated that this position had a majority in the Second Panel of the STF. The trial has not yet ended, it is suspended pending a request for review.
